Does anyone know what the motor differences are between in 2012 RR and F models?
Could it just be electronics ? Or a are we looking at valve sizes, types , Etc. Any help will be apreciated.

Think there are differences. Just lookup the part numbers for both on any dealer's website.
At a cursory glance, I see the camshafts to be the same part number, but the springs and valves are different part numbers

It surprises me that they're the same cam. Are the cam gears different? I'd think the timing at the very least would be different.

Does the 600f have dual stage fuel injection? I'd think maybe the TBs and airbox would be different

Yep, cams are exactly the same. I though notice the RR exhaust cam has a cam pulse rotor attached which the F doesn't have-may be listed elsewhere but not sure.
This rotor is present in my f4i-did notice it when I did my clearances and think some of the older models didn't have it going by the photos on internet.

The entire cam chain assembly and peripherals are same, only difference being the cam lifter assembly- tensioner -what we call the CCT
Air box is different--the RR has different part numbers for left and right funnel, the f has them identical. TBs are different. I am curious as to what this part number is- 16430-MFJ-D01 listed for both ? It is listed as motor assembly. Do they have ride by wire like the R6?
