CBR600 Dead??
I appreciate all the responses I got when I went to start my 1993 CBR600F2 and I heard a click then the entire electrical system went dead. On respondent said to keep it simple and check the obvious. Another said they had exactly the same thing happen and they lost a cell in the battery. So, I checked the battery and no charge. It would not take a charge either. I found a new battery at Kragen's Auto for $49 with acid pack and all new attachments. I filled the battery core with the acid pack, charged the battery on 2amp cycle for 18 hours and installed it. The bike fired up right away and I was amazed how bright the headlamp was and all the console lights too. I can see that the old battery was probably on its last leg. Anyway, I was really worried it might be the ignition system or switch or something else not too obvious. Thanks for all the help everyone. The CBR Forum rocks!!!

might not hurt to check the voltage while its running to make sure its charging. attach a voltage meter and make sure the voltage is over 13.5 or so while the engine is at 5000 rpms.
