CBR1000F Headight Suggestions Please
Just wondering if anybody has come up with or achieved a really good headlight upgrade for the cbr1000f
I was hoping to find or work out a hid or other higher powered system but as well would like to be able to include some led daylight running lights either by internal strip form or in the way of similar to halo or Angel eye types.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The cane uses a bulb that looks like a standard H4 bulb but it has what I believe is called a P43T base
So the two tabs on the bottom are to close together as well as the depth of the base and the little nipples are also a different measurement apart from a normal h4
The normal H4 can be made fit with a bit of adaptation to the base but it would be nice to have something that was, off the shelf so to speak
I'm not sure about in the states but a normal application for a motor vehicle here in Aus I think is 60/55w but for some reason we have 45/45 as the normal in the f which is pretty ordinary
Ideally I would love a led daytime running light scenario that could be placed inside the headlamp or even an alteza style headlight would be awesome but in short, a headlight that is better than a candle behind a blanket and that parts can readily be replaced

I believe there is an adaptor 'ring' to make the CBR1000F take a standard H4 globe Gazz. A little Googling may yield more information.
Edit: I went and looked because I was interested

Hi mate
Yeh mate, I've bought a so called adapter ring off eBay along with up grade bulbs also from eBay and ultimately China and none of which come close to fitting or even remotely look like being able to adapted.
I have watched an upgrade to a blackbird headlight that holds the H7 bulbs as well as Angel eye installation.
I've bought another complete headlight and going to have a real in depth play around to see what I can come up with and ultimately something that's going to be easy to replace so in short after pulling this apart and lots of trial by error I will no doubt either of wasted a lot of money or come up with a eat solution
