Default cbr1000f coolant leak

went out for ride today never had a problem with the bike pulled up turned the bike off heard a gurgeling and coolant started a puddle in front of the rear wheel the bike was not over heating i have not taken the panel off to see how much has gone yes but will do later anyone else had this problem im hoping its not major or its bye bye bike just about affording to keep it on the road lol look forward to your replys tnx bazil

Did you add coolant recently? Maybe overfilled the bottle. Could also be a blockage somewhere not allowing the coolant to flow (i.e. flow into the res but not back out). Check the res cap, make sure it seats.

Could be air in the system or the radiator cap may need replacing. A faulty radiator pressure cap would cause the water to boil and get pushed out but this usually goes through an overflow pipe. Obviously you need to take a look at where and why there is water on the floor. May just be a hole somewhere causing loss of fluid. Hope you find the problem!
