I have a 16inch front wheel on a 1992 900 cbr and i looking to changing it to a 17'' as i will get a better choice of tyres. I believe i can swop everything over to the 17'' but the only problem i can see is the gap between the tyre and the front fender. my question is what is the best way to get around this problem.

Might just be possible to elongate the mounting holes of the front mudguard bracket to lift it up a shade, but without looking at my front end it's just an idea.
