Default CBR 750F Hurricane carbs

Hello,

My bike needs a repair.

It cannot run more 80 km/h, though it was "flying" as a bullet before.
IMHO - carbs need to be changed. Cleaning carbs, changing sparkles are already in the past.

Original carbs model: Keihin VG 60.

I know it is almost impossible to find these in good condition, but perhaps somebody can advise me to install another model of Keihin.

Waiting your comments.

Are your carbys balanced properly? If the bike was flying before - how long ago was that? Did the bike sit for a while?

Your carbs will be similar to the CBR1000F so if you haven't already, have a read of Naga_Thai's excellent How To

Cheers, SB

SB,

I did syncing already several times, but results are the same.

Accelerating became slower and wasn't possible to accelerate the bike more 80 km/h.
The throttle stopped reacting at some intermediate position, so if I make more nothing happens.

I suppose the jets are clogged due low quality of our Russian gasoline.
Perhaps I use put more attention on some details.

What do you think?

SB,

I hope they are. At least I did several times through different workshops.
The bike got slow running once, up to 80 km's, and I cleaned the carbs. The, during test running first time it was good, then the same results. Since that moment anything I'd done was useless (no results).

I suppose the jets are clogged completely due to low quality of our Russian gasoline.
What do you think on it?
