I had a Triumph Trident from the seventies that had three carbs mounted to the head by three short rubber connectors and they were a pain to get off, but with a sharp tug, they finally came off. If all the clamps are nice an free (enough to be able to revolve them) and there are no other obstructions, then be brave and give them a good old wiggle and a tug and they should come off. Wait for other replies first if you don't feel confident and see if I've missed something out!
