Default Carb question

ok, so recently the shop has cleaned my carbs. got it back once and it stopped running the next day, took it back to the shop and they said the choke was sticking. got it back from the shop and it stopped running again. so i ripped off the tank and airbox to take a look at the carbs. first of all, they didnt even tighten the boots, so the carbs rock back n forth. second, the throttle cables and choke cables were not tightened all the way. after lubing the cables i noticed the choke is still sticking due to the choke rod. i am going to pull the carbs today and see if i can fix it. does anyone know what could be causing the choke rod to stick? i am assuming the shop might have not tightened something and its causing it since they did forget to tighten everything else.
