@hamlin6 thx a lot for the diagram and other tips. checked some example videos and written tutorials regarding what you had mentioned yesterday. it seems like a great tip. among those examples i like this article a lot.

I do this simply because the springs can take flight under uneven pressure The floss kind of tethers the spring so it doesn't launch across the shop and under you bench.

hi. quick update here i put it back to stock settings and hanging idle disappeared. couldn't ride much but have ridden 600miles+ so far. start, idle, throttle response and everything works fine. will check spark plugs later. have to check valve clearance before manometer sync. will update soon.

i would like to thank you all for your contribution and Happy New Year !

It is nice when, after all the work you do, it finally starts working right. Nice job. Congratulations and have fun.

@IDoDirt thx a lot for your support too. this posted by you is the best example i've ever seen when it comes to CV carb components / ports. it's very clear and organized. a few years ago it helped a lot to understand the basics. thx again and have a nice day

hi. i've ridden 1700miles so far. everything was perfect but yesterday i had a problem

i couldn't ride my bike for about 4 weeks ( almost a month ). so yesterday after several cranks bike started fine. after few seconds there was a strong fuel smell and fuel was leaking from the carb. apparently it came from the brown color fuel T joint. it only happened when i cranked / run the engine. fuel was pouring out and it was a big fuel leak. i couldn't check it further but today i had time to check it again.

removed fuel hose from the petcock side and pressurized it with fuel using a syringe. but it didn't show a leak. the T joint area was quite dry and the other two fuel tubes were the same. then i blew through the hose but still didn't see any leak. then i checked the whole carb using a light source but still couldn't see a leak. after that i noticed that the end of two overflow tubes were kind of wet. i wiped it and i think it was fuel.

but when i checked it yesterday the leak came directly from that brown color fuel T joint area. so i went for a ride and rode about 20miles. there was no leak visible. but it bothers me and i need to diagnose this. your suggestions will be highly appreciated ? thx a lot
