Can I change the front sprocket without breaking the chain?

RE: Can I change the front sprocket without breaking the chain?
Tire growth at speed can affect it but like you said, not very much change.
Anubis -- the alluminum sprocket is for the rear yes? It's easy to change. Front is even easier. I wouldn't put an alluminum on the front but on the rear they'll last longer than you think. Before I turbo'd the old busa I ran a vortex alluminum on the back and it lasted a year (12K miles) and was still in decent shape. Only took it off because I was skeert of 300hp on alluminum.

ORIGINAL: doncollins
it's progressive. So at 60 MPH it's off buy 10% and at 100 it's off by 15%. Rough numbers guys... don't quote me on this.
