Default Caliper paint ?

So like every other vehicle i own or have owned, I've started to tinker with my 929. Picked up a used rear caliper and bracket on eBay. I would like to paint them. Has anyone succesfully done this? Are there any issues with the brake fluid eating the paint? I'm a little worried i'm gonna paint them then put them on the bike and make a mess re-installing brake lines. Any quick tips? Thanks!

The stuff they use on calipers is a thick heat resistant paint. Pretty good for the odd spill of break fluid when you have to bleed them. Using ordinary paint is also going to make them very vulnerable to chipping from stones & crud.
I probably would get myself a pot of that stuff they use on pot belly stoves, it's a flat high temp paint.

Duplicolor has caliper paint in just a rattle can and also a kit to do it. check out their website.
