It/they do, yeah. They're pretty solid but they do spin given enough effort

Try to get a bit of brake cleaner around the contact points to see if they will move freely , then give it a run to see, are the headstock bearings OK

I'm not really sure. The bike has a little over 40k miles, though I took it in around the 34k mile mark and had a complete tune up done to it (new clutches/plates/springs, both sprockets and chain, air filter and spark plugs along with a valve clearance check.) According to the paperwork they checked the fork seals as well but I'm not sure about the bearings. I don't think that's a "standard" thing they check. Will definitely look into that regardless of if I get this brake situation sorted out or not. I honestly drive like a grandma by most riders' standards, changing the oil every 1500 miles or so, no hard braking and definitely no track riding. I've definitely lost my cornering confidence since that low-side crash though. Now when I turn, I'd compare it to how I would when driving in the rain. Sloooow and easy. Lol. Kind of embarrassing honestly.

O/T slightly, I know, but...

If you're using a good quality synthetic oil, 1500 miles is a bit crazy. If you are truly worried about engine wear, change just the filter @ 1500 miles and top off the oil. Wait till you have a good 3 to 4K on the oil before you bother with a complete change.

WRT the brakes, if the stockers were in decent shape, I'd pull it all apart again and if the mounting surfaces look clean and decent, then these new discs have no excuse. Remount the stockers and see if the issue abates.

Doesn't take long to do and well worth the effort.
