So I’m riding a 2005 600rr with 54700km. Or 34000 miles. It seems to have lost all its power off the launch. I can bomb around town and get up to hiway speeds no problem but I can also go full throttle in 1st gear from stopped and the launch is like walking speed. Bogs really bad. Once it gets going it’ll red line in first no problem. The launch just sucks. Used to be really jerky in first like they all should be. Then I ended up with launch worse than a busted smart car

 

Assuming you're not running a Power Commander, check your spark plugs. Look to see if they are worn. While you're at it, check the air filter too.
