Default blinker doesnt blink

i just bought the bike (06 600rr) and for some reason if you turn the bike on and turn on the right blinker, it doesnt blink. but if you turn the left blinker on it blinks, then if you turn it back to the right the right will also blink. then if my blinkers arnt on for a while and i turn the right one on, it again doesnt blink. and sometimes ill turn the right blinker on and it will come on and take a second to pause, then start blinking. its only the right one. i had it apart yesterday, and one of the wires came disconnected from that white (resistor?? in the pic) and neither of them blinked. i reconnected it and it went back to what its been doing. any thoughts? it has a fender eliminator, that was in when i bought it

Wow... so much to test!! Sounds like there is more resistance on the right side circut than the left. The blinker relay needs current to build up before it discharges it, making your signal blink, so if there is a smaller amout... your "blinks" will have a long time between blinks. It's possible that when you switch to the left first it "primes" the capacitor.

Start testing things by itself. Start with the switch and see if it ohms out the same from left to right. Do you have a meter??

I dont have a meter, but i think they're fairly cheap. i dont really know much about electrical work though or what i should really test.
