Default LED's won't blink?

Hey guys, my LEDS seem to light up just fine but won't blink (front and rear) and the dash turn signal light stays lite. Do I need resistors? Thanks much!!

You don't need resistors, but check your wiring.Did you wire running and turn signal lites together?

Yep, wiring is good. If I hit the right side and immediatly hit the left they will work. However if I hit just the left I get a solid. I was reading that I need a resistor in the front.

I'm using leds on mine and don't need any resistors, yes the blink rate is faster, but that doesn't bother me.

hey GSXR,

Yes you need resistors, or what we did is wired the original bulbs and tucked them into the back (trunk) so you can not see them... My brother and I were going crazy with that, and noticed that there is not enough resistance with just having all LED directional's... We wrapped his original lights with electrical tape and tucked them in the trunk, and it has worked great. If you are good with resistors then use those, but we did not have any on hand and went with the next best thing. Any questions let me know but you just need it to draw more power...

my god I miss this site...

I had the same problem when i went to full leds, I went a entirely different approach. i simply spliced in a electronic flasher from my local Autozone on to the flasher wiring on the throttle side of the bike under the air duct. I was unsure how hot the resistors got. I can get the p# for you if you want.
