I have a 01 F4i that wont start. The bike will turn over, the i can hear the pump turn on but it wont fire. If i hold the throt wide open it spudders and wants to go but just wont. Does this sound like a fuel problem? Air problem? Spark? Im a bit lost on where to start looking (im use to working on my arctic cats not my honda). Any help or insite would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

 

Start with the plugs. Have you pulled and checked them yet? Arctic cat, Hyundai, Vespa... Plugs bad = no start

Don't overcomplicate it. You got passed the hardest part already: the fuel pump primes

 

ok so i finaly got new spark plugs and got them put in, the bike still didnt want to start untill i held it wide open and just kept cranking the thing over. the idle is a little low but throttle response seems to be fine but now the fi light is flashing. it flashes one time, does anyone know what the code is for one???
