Bike was laid down over night....
he is correct a hydrolock occurs when the cylinder is filled with fuel or oil and laying on its side for a period of time will certainly do it so pull the plugs and get the excess fluid out and check the state of charge on the battery it should be 12.8 or so you may also want to put new plugs in it if they are oil soaked you will deal with a fouling situation
Hard to tell remotely, but the acid may have drained out of the battery (assuming it's a wet cell not gel) hence no juice. May not be "hydrolocked" after all. Check to see if there's any acid in the battery before tearing everything apart.
The battery is a seperate issue that may need to be adressed. But I tell you from experience the motor IS hydrolocked. It will act like a dead battery, hit the starter and nothing, one click and everything electrical dies, then the gauges reset. If it were just the battery you could push start the bike, but if its hydrolocked (and it is) when you try to push start it and pop the clutch the rear wheel will be locked up and just bounce a little. Pull the plugs, go in from the top, i.e. remove the tank and air box to get to them.
