There are some spots in the tail light on each side where you can mount your turn signal bulb to get rid of the ones sticking out the side of the bike. I havent done this yet so I am not sure on specifics of how to do it.. but I do plan to do this soon myself so I guess I will figure it out. LOL

Ya man, i cant stay away from riding haha its too much fun.

well cbr's have two bulbs in the taillight, one on each side, so you can buy a turn signal eliminator kit on ebay for like 15 bucks and hook it up to the taillight, and it will make the left and right side of the taillight blink instead of using rear turn signals I'm pretty sure its illegal, I heard in my rider course that the lights are supposed to be 9 inches away from each other, but i dont know if the cops care here in Snohomish, Wa where i live. Its pretty cool!

Check out CBRfairings.com or The Fairing Factory Official Website- Quality First.

They are both very well made and are a great price. There are alot of reviews on them with people who have no fitment issues.

Feel better and be safe.
that's who i got my fairings from for my repsol edition. they fit okay (not perfect, but if you're careful, you should be able to get it together), they aren't OEM quality though. the backs aren't painted, and they're very ugly with blotchy paint on the back (you'll see it on the top fairing). but, they are worth what they cost when you compare it to OEM.

having said that, i'm a big believer in fightering bikes out too. thats what i'm into. you can do what you want. you're not restricted by anything at all when fightering a bike out.

you talking about making your own integrated lights out of the stock one? i don't think cops will look twice at you for that. a cop that rides might - but i don't think he'd make a big deal out of it unless you were being squidly. you can still tell which direction you are signaling because the other light stays lit. but on the f3 that i had, i had a true integrated tail light. it was LED and it had amber led's that would light up when you signalled. it was pretty good looking . it was plug-n-play too.

ya it was just the stock tail that has the integrated signals so thats good to know. I like street fighters, but i think i prefer my f2 the way it was before. I'll definitely experiment with it though cause who knows maybe i could like the bike "fightered out" My main focus now is to get the right front turn signal back up and get new tires. I will deal with buying and painting new fairings later. I might check out bent bike too, idk if you guys have that where ya are, but its like a pull a part for moto's. hopefully i could find a bike laid down on its left side or something

damn, i wish we had a pull-a-part for moto's around here...

...actually, wait, that'd be a bad idea, i'd spend all my money and time there...

front signals are no big deal. this is just a thought... you could buy some cheap incadescent bulb ones (if you dont have any already). take some aluminum stock. cut 2 pieces about an 1in. to 2in long. drill 2 holes in it near the ends. mount them on each side where your engine mounts are inbetween the bolt and actual mount. then you have a place to mount your turn signals (the other hole in the peice of aluminum stock). a quick butt crimp connection and you're ready to ride.... that is if you're going to run without the side fairings....

just a thought in case you have the itch to ride pretty quick
