Exclamation Bike died please help!

Hi ladies and gents.

I'm new to the forum.

Last night when riding home from work I went to indicate right and the indicator stayed on instead of flashing. I tried the other and it did the same. Got closer to home and tried it again and the whole bike juddered and almost stopped. Tried it one more time while pulling into my drive and the bike just died. The speedo was dead even though I was moving and the light on the dash display was on but no data was shown. I tried to start the bike again but everything just went black and the engine didn't even try to turn over. It's a CBR 125R 2011 model.

Looks like I'm getting the bus today

Sounds like a battery or charging issue.

Taking the battery off shortly to give it a full charge. Will let you know if it's just something as simple as that tomorrow

Could possibly be a pinched wire as well. Will have to do some diagnosing to see what works and what doesn't and go from there.

Cheers guys I'll have a go at it day after tomorrow when I'm off work. Hopefully it's just a simple case of a flat battery. Can the weather cause that as I thought the bike kept the battery charged?

Once you have it running, use a volt meter to see what your battery voltage is while it's idling and at around 3000 RPM.
