Default Bike broke down on Interstate

I was cruising down the Interstate...give it a lil gas and it bogs way down....I noticed I was decreasing speed....so I pulled off to the shoulder, pulled the clutch in and my bike died....Then it wont start back up....I can twist the throttle a few time and it might fire up for about 1 second.....I was thinking maybe its the fuel pump, any other ideas?

towing company wated $125 to tow 10 miles, AAA didnt cover my bike since I dont have RV+? So anyway I called up my father in law and we loaded it up in the back of his truck...two people picking up a bike isnt very fun, but a hella of a lot cheaper!

PS: I have a 2000 F4

So I got my bike started today...running fine...took about 2 mins to start? mybuddy thinks maybe the ignition coil could be going bad, going to try adn change that, along with new plugs, and replacing the strainer.

Yeah, get RV Plus on your AAA- I paid about $30 more I think over the basic service.
Free tows up to100 miles also.

nah holds a charge fine...just didnt fire, I believe it was getting gas considering I could smell the gas when I got it home and set it in my garage...thats why I was thinking maybe the ignitiopn coil? It has died a few times when sitting at lights, but always started back up
