Battery dying!

Battery dying!
Hey guys,
So I have a 1992 CBR 600F2. After getting it, the same night I killed it and then when I tried to start it again, the battery was totally drained. This was after about 90 minutes of riding it. I jumped it for about 5-10 minutes and was able to ride it home with no problems. I then bought a multimetere and tested the battery. When running, the battery didnt seem to be hitting the 14.5V mark but it seemed like it was charging so I bought a new battery. After riding it for a good 100 to 150 mile, over about a week, it happened again today. I let it sit for about 5 minutes after parking came back out to start it and it was almost dead. I let it sit for about 5 more minutes and then cranked the gas and it barley started. Rode it home, about 30 miles, no problems. Parked it came back 3 hours later, battery dead again.
Jumped it just to start it to see if the battery would charge on its own. It would run for about 1 minute then die again.
I have done some research and thinking that it might be the stator, but then again after reading a few posts maybe the rectifier?
Any input would be a great help.
Thanks in advance!

My vote is regulator/rectifier. Go to ElectroSport - Motorcycle, Dirt Bike and ATV - OEM Quality Stators, Regulator/rectifiers and CDIs and download their troubleshooting guide. Follow it and you will soon find the faulty component. Also check your wiring connections. When the reg/rect goes out sometimes it melts the wiring from the stator.

im not sure what kind of research you did. but it sounds like your battery is bad.
the fact that you can jump start the bike every time and the multimeter shows 14+v means that everything else is working...except the battery (which is the unknown variable in this test). unless you have something to test for amps..then you can't test the battery to see if it's taking the charge.
so my vote is that its time for a new battery.
