Default Battery

right guys
My battery voltage when checked yesterday was only 11.6v,put it on the optimate and save/desulphated then fully charged. Checked again today and sat at 12.95v,started her up and voltage at idle was 12.4 and at 3000 Rev’s 12.57,assuming after a good google this seems like a stator replacement is needed?

Some regulators don't kick in until closer to 5k rpms, depending on what bike you have. You can do tests on the stator to see the output and check winding continuity. Regulator/rectifiers are a common failure part as well as the connection burning.

I have my multimeter and done some tests

Battery is holding a charge and sits at 12.96,bike idling sand volts at 12.36,Rev it at 5k and volts at 12.49. Not too sure on ohm settings on my meter for the 3 yellow wires from stator to regulator, but the other connector block from stator to regulator when tested are reading the exact battery voltage 12.96?
