Default Battery wont hold a charge

So i went on vacation a couple weeks ago and when i got back after 10 days of not riding the first thing i did was hoped on my bike to go for a ride and the battery was dead . I charged it over night and it started the next day so I went for a ride and made it about 10 miles then the battery was dead again. Got a new battery then the same problem. So i changed the stator and it still wont charge the battery. Two of the wires read .1 volts and the other was .6 but its a new stator. Any ideals on what to do or lok for. I checked the r/r and the voltage matched the batteries so i believe that means that that was working properly.

The charging voltage should be like 13.4v to 14.5v at 4-5k rpms. If it matches the battery voltage, it's not charging and running on the battery.

How do i know what its from though. The post I have read say that the r/r should read the same as the battery and i have a new stator but dont really know what the outputs are suppoed to be reading.

Stator output is measured in AC volts. The common check is to make sure the windings are not broken or shorted to ground. The conversion of the AC to DC happens in the r/r.

This just happened to me & I took it to a mechanic he said I had loose connections but Im not sure were at. You might want to spend the cash and have a Pro check it out esp. after you already sunk money into a new stator and rectifier. But look on the bright side the F3 are notorious for chewing up rectifiers so you prolly would have needed one sooner or later.

Check this first! That was my problem too. Check the battery then start it and rev it to 4-5 rpms then check it while at this rpm. Should be 13.4-14.5
