Default basic frame question

I don't have aCBR bike but I do possess three swingarms; two with shocks and mounting brackets. Reason for having them is to put a wide tire monoshock swingarm on older bikes with narrower tires. (Please stop laughing) What I can't figure out is where the bracket that holds the swing arm attaches to the rest of the bike. It's a simple question if you own a CBR or know someone who does but that's not me. I also haven't been able to track down a parts diagram ( like BikeBandit) that shows how everything goes together. I want to fabricate a piece I can weld to a steel frame that will be a substitute for the real attachment point. Then I will use a jackshaft to move the chain drive outward to match the CBR's rear sprocket.

Default RE: basic frame question

if you do a search on the forum for manuals, you will find links to download a service manual for a CBR600f4i....that should help you out as it has an exploded diagram....other than that, trying to explain it would be hard...
