Default Another battery question

I'm gonna need a new battery, so is one battery better than another? Honda wants 128 for a new gel battery. Can i go with Interstate batteries? Any other good brands out there?

Anybody out there?

Can I get a little feedback here.

Got a price from Interstate batteries for 85.95 + tax for a ytz10s maintance free. Same battery i have now except mine is from Yuasa corp.

Pepboys had a ytz10La ($35). Anybody know if i can use this one, couldn't find online.

What batteries does everyone have in there bikes??

The Diehard I have in the Honda is exactly the same as the Yuasa in my Suzuki. You can get a Diehard battery and automobile charger from Sears for the same price as the Interstate.

check the dimensions of your existing batter. some of the ones that you can pick up at autoparts stores won't fit right (too tall).

the pepboys one is taller and wider then mine, so that one is out. I still gotta get a price for a diehard unless you can remember how much you paid slowpoke. I'm gonna get a battery tender for my charger. They're a little high in coin but sound like they work really good. Hell they come w/ a 10 year warranty!!!!

slowpoke,
Sears says they don't have the battery that i need. Is that the only place to get a diehard battery?

I got an EBC battery delivered to my door for $50 off egay. Don't know how good it is yet as I have only had it a week. I have a battery tender so that should make any battery last as long as I have the bike.

I had a really good experience through www.batteriesplus.com. They had an unbelievable selection of all different types of batteries. I bought one for my 929 for $70, compared to the $110 for the Yuasa and it has twice the warranty of the Yuasa. Good luck.
