Default Anodizing engine cases?

Hey. I took the bike apart because of knocking. I'm thinking about anodizing and dyeing the engine cases. Has anybody tried it? I've read that you can't anodize some alloys. Any experience? Advices? I would have to spend some money on it or do it by myself so it's better to ask first. I know that I will have to put some kind of glue or silicon in places where bearings are.

Because the case's are cast aluminium the results from Anno will be pretty **** poor. I have seen cast alu after Anno and it honestly looks like poo. Your best bet would be powdercoat or high temp paint.
