Default F4 faring replacement

Wholesale Body for HONDA CBR600F4 1999-2000 CBR 600F4 CBR600 F4 600 F4 99 2000 1999 00 Black West fairing kit, Free shipping, $306.19-358.44/Set | DHgate

Found these on DHgate.com has anyone purchased from Charles-Auto Parts? if so, what was the quality of the product recieved? i saw complaints from one buyer in the feedback of the plastics melting? but all other buyers were very satisfied. i laid my f4 down and already had plans of replacing the fairings with race replica to be a bit more unique.

Also can't decide which fairings to go with. this is obviously a personal opinion but I'm between the Konica-Minolta, Repsol, West, Movistar, castrol, and Fortuna (Mainly because it is the closest to matching my new arai lid lol) maybe even redbull although they are somewhat tacky

Thanks! all input is appreciated.

I ordered a set off of there I went with the top repsol kit from motomart ltd. comes with a windshield and the heat shield stuff. Make sure what ever ones you order you get the heat shield or you can an more than likely melt your fairings. I haven't gotten mine yet should have it by the end of the month (I hope) so if you haven't bought by then ill post an update. I have Hurd of the paint not holding up to well, like it chipping. I'm just going to wax mine like crazy and let it roll. That's all I know about them. Oh ya the web site will charge your card but they hold the money till you get your fairings. It's to keep people from getting screwed , or that's what they say, idk

The ABS will deffinitely warp and or melt if you don't use heat shielding, the PO of my f4 didn't use any on his aftermarket kit and the plastic is warped and bubbled around the headers so it's new bodywork for me. Idiot...but I did talk him down on price cause of the damage. Heat shields between the header and plastic should be a no-brainer and you'll also need to cover the lower fairing bottom as the exhaust is right next to it. It'd be nice if the kits came with it cause it's not cheap stuff.

Hmm seems fairly legit. I'll probably do the same and get a kit with heat shielding and a windscreen. Then add some insulation of my own as well. Won't be for a few more weeks but it needs to happen. Mine are all types of faded, scuffed and scratched

I wouldn't recommend getting anything from oversea's unless from japan and it's OEM. Yes these fairings are cheap but they are also cheap in build quality, fitment and the primer /paint can easily crack. I bought a set from a reputable seller (Auctmarts.com) and I had two cracks in the paint happen while I was installing them, and the area where they cracked was not stressed while I was installing them. I know it sucks but if you really want a liveried set than buy OEM (new or used) and have someone paint them and apply the decals. It will cost more but they will fit perfectly, look and last, and will maintain the resale value of the bike.

Edit: To give an update on my bike I have bought another set from sharkskinz and will have them painted from a local shop, much higher quality control and putting money back into our economy.

Just looked at that site for the 1st time I will say I do like the two part set up vs. the stock set up, to bad I didn't see those sooner as I can paint and that would have been ez to get right. You are right they are pricer but after looking at the set up and the prices I might pick a set up if I trash these beyond all repair.

To the rest of the people posting on this tread go check them out and read the comments from the people if half if what they say is true that's a great fairing. But with me what's done is done so i shall see how these cheapies from over younder work out.
P.s. they shipped today

Just make sure and study up on what material they use and what kind of feedback they get. you want a nice flexible fairing with good primer on it. so If you do take a spill its easily repaired and wont shatter. These are pretty reputable companies if your gonna get them painted yourself.

SharkSkinz
Armour Bodies
MacMoto
Airtech-Streamlining
Yoyodyne
