Default Alarm install w/o cutting harness?

Hey yalls. When I finally get the F4i in my grubby little hands, the first thing I'm gonna do is slap an alarm into it. However every alarm I've seen, even those with 'OEM kits' require at least 1 wire to be cut. Usually a line to the starter or kill switch, which routes through the alarm.

My question: is there a way to do this without cutting the harness? I've seen guys claiming to install alarms professionally without cutting the harness. I just don't see how tho. I can use positaps to splice into a line without cutting it. But that won't interrupt voltage on the line, which is what the alarm is supposed to do.

Any help?
