Air box vacuum lines
Hey guys, i'm new to the forum and to my first bike. I bought it knowing it doesn't run and it was apart. I'm trying to put it back together and i'm having some trouble. I did search the forum but didn't find much information regarding my specific question. I figured out that the vacuum lines in this picture attached connect under the air box but some of those nipples are broken off on the air box.. I also noticed that the far right one has a little hole in it for air to pass. I'm confused to why only 1 has the air to pass through and the rest dont. Also, will i have to get a new air box or can i just plug/leave those vaccum lines how they sit right now? Thanks for all the help in advance.
Those look like the carb syncing vacuum lines. they should all be plugged. I dont have an F4, so I would wait until someone here knows for sure, but thats what they look like to me.
you can plug them with a screw if the nipples are broken off or something. they are ONLY for synchronizing the carbs so you don't have to worry about their function...just make sure they are plugged.
