Default 98 CBRf4E Smoking Joe Replica

98 CBR Smokin Joe Replica Racer, just over 4,000 miles on it. The people are asking $1500 for it. Is this a good deal? And what is the deal with the purple and yellow Camel theme? is it a collector or special edition?

its really hard to say whats a good deal without knowing more about the bike. but 1500 sounds like a good deal. like i said b4 its hard to say. how are the fairings ? does it have all the parts ? tires, maintenance etc ? all this matters in determining wether or not its worth it. but assuming everythign is in good condition and there really is only 4k miles then id say 1500 is a really good deal annd u should jump on it lol

96 and 98 SJ's were special editions. However there are knock off's out there too. I don't know if Honda did something with the VINs to separate them. Japan had a 97 400cc SJ too. I wanted a SJ for a long time. Never got one.

4K miles for 1500 is not bad at all. like havoc already stated, it also depends on other factors. how is the rest of the bike? visually and mechanically. does it run?

Yeah, those were pretty cool. I remember seeing them when they came out 10 years ago. It's pretty much like the late model Repsol and Europe's Telefonica editions. Don't know if they're "collectible" or any difference in value, but just like the Repsols now people are duplicating them with decal kits. Either way, still cool looking and different.

I believe that's the 98 scheme. All 3 years were different.
