Well, long story short, I got my bike running yesterday... although it is not running perfect, it idles fine, and the engine sounds solid. Today i warmed her up for about five minutes, and twisted the throttle, and a huge cloud of smoke poured out of the exhuast. At first I though it was condinsation, but it kept coming. The more i revved it, the more white smoke poured out of the exhaust. I shut it off, and let it cool... i went back out after a few hours to start it up, and it ran fine with no smoke until it warmed up again. Then it was pouring smoke out of the exhaust, and i also noticed where the pipe meets the header it was dripping what looked like oil. I said to myself ****... there goes the motor. But when i pulled the plugs expecting to find them dripping in oil, the were all perfectly dry, with white soot on them... as if I were running really lean. So that is where I am right now,and I'm not quite sure what it is. Could it be sooo lean that white smoke would pour out? Or am i due for a new engine? What do you all think???

 

If the smokeis white and notblueish, It sounds like a blown head gasket, its not oil but coolant that your burning.
