What is life expectancy on clutch plates.. I heard 3-5k for hard riding, engine braking, stop and go traffic, wheelies, take offs.. And like 20-30k or lifetime for light riding.. 1k miles less a year... Any tips?

Tips? Change the oil as recommended, don't slip the clutch more than necessary. Heat is the enemy of clutches.

Most bikes never see a 2nd set of plates, stunted bikes may go through them in a few thousand miles.
