Default 954rr code 19=mind blown!

On my 02 954rr which is very clean and runs great, I noticed some clutch basket noise so I decided to open up the cover and inspect. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary other than maybe friction plates are getting dry or worn, so I put everything back together, and now my bike isn't creating spark. It's giving me the code 19 for ignition pulse generator. I Did nothing but unhook this and put it back together. So I replaced the pick up coil, still nothing. I have completely gone through the wiring harness, checked continuity, checked ecm, you name it. I've talked to Honda techs and they say it's a mystery. I refuse I take it in and have them go through everything I already have for a huge price. If anyone has any ideas on why I'm not getting any spark from this code 19, it would be great. I can go into more detail if needed, thanks!

Hi, think you answered your own post, you could have disturbed the sensor that's located inside the cover when you took it off to have a look at the clutch plates, I would take it off again to have a look, but first check the sensor with a Multimeter to satisfy yourself that's what it is, page 17-6 of your workshop manual

I finally fixed it today after I made this post! Unfortunately they were both rookie mistakes I made. First time around I hadn't disconnected the battery to plug the ipg back in and it shorted it out, second time around with the new ipg it wasn't seated properly. Thanks for the reply though, now I'm officially set up on this forum for future references.
