The 954 and 929 are basically the same motor, should bolt in with no problem. If you're using the 54's throttle bodies/injectors, you may need to use electronics for it. I'm pretty sure you can bolt on everything from your 929 and keep stock electrical. As suggested, google it. If you've never removed motor from a 929, be prepared for a long night. Dealing with rear motor mounts/swingarm pivot bolts is major PITA. It helps if you have something to lift frame (overhead winch or something similiar).
