95 f3 clutch question
Hi guy's this is my first post. i have a 95 600f3 and have a problem with my clutch.
I stripped it down to find that my fiction plate had broken two spring bolts off so it was working off of two springs instead of four. so i have ordered a new fiction plate.
but my question is what clutch to install, the one taken out looks newish but i dont want to put it back in as i could end up taking it back out.
looking around i have a few options oem or a ebc everyone kind of has mixed views. can you guys point me in the right direction.
Cheers Jimbo

Dang! That sucks about the friction plate...Well, my cluth burnt out a couple of days ago. Ivé been doing my homework andi'm gonna go with a EBC, teflon coated clutch set (friction plates and springs). diffrent types of oil can be used with the EBC (teflon) clutch. I haven't taken apart my clutch yet. Don't know if any thing else is broken. It should't be cause, as soon as it started acting up, I shut it down.
A clutch and spring set (EBC), here in N.M. usa. Runs $120. If plate are needed, the set with plates, is about $190.

Thanks Seeya7 after posting up i've been doing home work and i'm also going for a ebc srk complete kit, here in the uk you can get it for about £110.
only had the bike 4 weeks and seeming to be fixing past riders problems when i finish re-building, it will hopefully great to ride.
i will post up when i have fitted it and give you my view

New clutch fitted and new clutch fiction plate, judder springs, complete ebc srk clutch kit, new washers and lock nut and spring bolts. and adjustment as stated in manual of 10-12mm free play and what a differance
the bike pulls away better, so much smoother when changing gear, and slipping the clutch is a million times better, totally pleased with it, going to take the bike to work tomorrow so i can see how the new clutch feels and works.
