95 CBR 600f3 dies out need help!
Iv'e got a 95 CBR600F3. Had it for 5 years and never had a problem til now. Sometimes it doesn't run right. For instance, I'll drive it to work and it will be fine. 7-8 hrs later when I leave work I'll get a block way and it wont rev past 4000 rpm and eventually die out and thats happened three times already. I'll pull over and try to start it back up and it wont. I'll sit there for 10 minutes trying to restart it and finally it will, then it will drive home fine. The gas switch is facing down so it's not on the reserve tank(I'm pretty sure down is on right? up is reserve). Iv'e always choked it for before starting it since I've had it. Now when it's choked it doesn't rev up like it used to. It will rev to about 2500-3000 rpm fully choked. Could it be fuel filter, pump, carbs need work? Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
Could be fuel or spark, but 1 of 2 things high on the list to check, symptoms of the regulator starting to pack it in or the 95-98 F3's have a fuel filter & when they start to get clogged also give a similar symptoms.
