Question 93 cbr600 f2

hey everyone just got my bike ready for spring tune up and new batt i was told by my local shop the read back on the batt at 4500rpms is 14 volts to 14.5 volts im just wondering if they made a mistake because. my reading is about 16 volts at 4500 rpms and 12.3 to 12.6 at idle thanks for your help and ride safe

16 is too high. The normal range is 11.5-ish to 14.4-ish.
I'd run some diagnostics on the r/r. It's an unusual issue.
Most of the time the r/r doesn't put out enough, when it's failing.
