HAVING TROUBLE WITH A BIKE I PICKED UP I'VE CHANGED THE OIL AND PLUGS AND CLEANED THE CARBS....... THE BIKE SPUTTERS UNTIL U HIT 6000 RPMS IN ALL GEARS ...... DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OR KNOW WHAT COULD BE CAUSEING THIS?

 

how old is the gas and have you had the bike jetted

 

id recommend changing your fuel filter not just cause i think its your problem but also that is a pretty old bike and its probably never been changed lol

 

there was old gas in it i have a vance and hines spark box and a full exhaust plus it is jetted

 

You might have to clean the carbs if its been sitting for a while. We had the same problem with our Spirit 750. The jets were clogged.
