Default 2004 Honda CBR600 F4i TPS issue

Greetings!

I just recently picked up a '04 CBR600 F4i. Cosmetically not in great shape but I'll slowly get it back up to speed (missing ferring pieces and such). It runs strong (only 15k miles) with the exception of the fact that it is flashing the TPS code. Gas mileage isn't great which I can deal with, but it left me on the side of the road after an hour long ride in mid-90s temperature. I believe that the TPS is the issue, as it would start up but then lose power after riding it for a few feet. Once it cooled off it fired up and ran great once again.

After pulling the gas tank and volt checking the TPS, I would get 0.09 volts regardless of throttle position. I went back to the ECU and volt checked there to ensure it was not a broken wire. I never got more than 0.09 volts even straight off the ECU. Am I looking at a bad ECU? Is there some other troubleshooting I should be doing before I just replace the ECU?

I appreciate the help, in advance. I've just returned to the riding world after being away for 18 years (had a '78 Suzuki GS450 back in the day - always wanted an F4i) so I apologize if I'm missing something obvious.

Thanks again!

Okay, so I took the dive and ordered an ECU. I'm getting the same voltage reading (well, 0.08 volts but close enough) so... I've eliminated that as the issue. So is it then a broken wire somewhere along the line? If the yellow/red is also connected to the MAP sensor, why is that sensor not throwing a code? Unless anyone else has some bright ideas, I'm going to follow the wire to look for a break/short at some point. Any help would be appreciated!

No, couldn’t find anything obvious... I’ve got continuity where I should, so it doesn’t appear to be a short. Definitely creating issue though, the power just dies at around 9,000rpm so it would be awesome to get this fixed.
