2000 f4 HID Recomendations
Ok...to start ,I DID use the search function and I did find alot of useful
information. I have a 2000 f4 with the SINGLE headlight bulb. I would like to install an HID setup. Can anyone recommend a good kit for this application? If you can post a link that would be great. I want to retain the ability to have a High and low beam. I am going to get 6000k setup.
Thanks in advance !

Check the how to section mechanical. there are a few write ups in there. I would suggest dropping in a projector in your housing though. I wouldn't just put an hid bulb in. Your stock reflector is not designed for an hid style bulb and your light pattern will be all over the place.
this is a pretty good write up.

Also, for the best light output,(which is why I assume your going HID), go with a 4300k light. The lower the number, the brighter and whiter the light output will be. the higher the number, the more blue to purple it will become. It may look cool to others, but whats the point of putting in an HID if your ability to see is less than it was before. Thee 6000 isnt horrible, but still relatively blue.

That IS a good thread but, 2 problems.....
#1- looking at the company's web site I cannot begin to figure out which kit I need and the OP never really said which one.
#2- As far as ordering goes....I see no order option on the site
Kind of why I was hoping someone would post a link to a specific kit they used .....
If someone can post a link to a KNOWN kit that will fit a 2000 f4 then I can just click and buy.

I think you bike has an H4 bulb correct? If thats the case, I just did a search on ebay and found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PROJE...Q5fAccessories
It appears to be the same kit he used. It has two units, so either buy and only install one and hold onto the other. Or maybe sell the other one. You could probably get most of your money back. Or keep it as a spare. But, any h4 HID projector kit should work fine.
