my start button does not work, in fact my lights dim if i push it. i have a remote switch hooked up to jump the solenoid to start the bike. i think the problem with mine lays within the handlebar control itself..probably old and corroded...but i have not looked yet. i bet the same applies to your bike as well.

the biggest rear tire you can fit (correctly) on the OEM rim is a 150.

i have aftermarket mirrors and just drilled new mounting holes in the upper stay to make the spacing fit.

what plastics can i use? i would love to take a newer f model and bolt it on, would i have to redrill, bend some brackets? or it wont fit. thaks again for all ur help, the bike is sweet

They're talking about the Hurricane, not the F2. And the OEM size from the factory on the rear tire of a CBR 600F (Hurricane) was a 130/80/V17. Front tire was a 110/80/V17

Thank you ZCS, we ARE talking about the F1 not F2, and those are the OEM sizes, but you can fit up to a 150 correctly on the rear.

i just got the f2 rear faring, its gonna take some modification but it'll be painted and fitted soon. and this is the bike so far. thanks for the help so far.
