I'd have to care about 3% more power....its cheaper to get a bigger bike than running U4....opps sorry, 4.1...I have to start proof-reading my posts.

The latest craze in "racing fuel" is U4.....a highly oxygenated fuel...but still only 89 octane. Its good for about 3% power increase when jetted/mapped properly...at the price of $5 a gallon., its hardly worth it for street use.
Latest Craze? You do realize the VP is no longer manufacturing U4? It's been updated to U4.1 and where are you getting U4 for $5.00 a gallon, try $75.00 for a 5 gallon drum (that's $15.00 a gallon [:@]). Even the new U4.1 is still $13.00 a gallon...

Another thing to know about oxygenated race fuels is that they are highly corrosive and if you leave them sit in your tank and fuel lines for long, it will start to eat away at everything... I accidently left U4 in one of my race bikes over the winter a few years ago and had to clean out the tank, replace all the fuel lines and completely rebuild the throttle bodies. Not fun.
