Default 08 CBR 1000rr issues

This mainly a question to see if anyone has experienced this on their new gen 1krr's. I don't know if it is specific to my bike or to the new gen's or any other bikes. This only seems to happen when I have an aftermarket exhaust on and it is extremely random and at times rare to happen. But sometimes when im slowing down for a light, I would say around 40-50mph when the problem occurs, the bike will just shut off when the clutch is pulled to downshift. It restarts immediately, I've actually gotten pretty good at it. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the link, doesn't look like anyone knows for sure what's going on though... There are a couple of things to try.

The thread talked about the sidestand switch, loose ground and a few other things. You might check into those. There doesn't seem to be one common solution.

When it shuts off, does it kill all of the lights and everything? or does the engine just die?

Does it act like some hit the kill switch? or sort of stumble and die?

It dies as if someone hits the start switch, lights stay on. I'm not a slouch on the downshifts everything happens pretty fast but it happens quicker than I can let the clutch back out after a quick gear tap. I know for a fact this has something to do with the combustion process changing after an aftermarket pipe has been installed because it has never happened once with the bike stock. I think maybe a pc3 is in order, maybe the people saying it doesn't get enough fuel and it almost stumbles going back to idle is the remedy.
