I saw images of a 2006 1000RR with 2008 1000RR turn signal mirrors on it. Normally I don't like it when people mix and match different generation parts, but i have to say I really liked the way it looked.

I was wondering if anyone here has tried this and if you have what did you have to modify ( if any ) on the older model for the newer mirrors to fit?
