hey so I keep my bike covered and ride it daily, but for some reason after rain it always has a rough time starting. any ideas?

 

Moisture.
Is the bike covered, but outside.
You can get some spray for the plugs and electrical connection to keep the moisture out

 

Sounds like some moisture some how got in your intake maybe, somewhere, but that shouldn't be. I ride daily also, and mine starts and runs fine in the rain and during riding in the rain. It has even sat in the pouring rain at work (uncovered) and I've started it up, while its still raining and rode it home (29 mi.) No problems, whatsoever. The first few times I rode it in the rain I was worried about the LCD display, but everything is water tight, knock on wood, and she's still running better than the day I rode it home.

I would have it check out while its still under warranty and/or do a thorough inspection yourself. Unless you know you went through a massive puddle or got splashed with a shyt load of water and I would have it looked at.

Ok thanks. i actually ride with the service manager a bunch and he had no idea ha ha. I suppose i ll keep it covered best i can, until i get out of college and get a house with a garage...
