So, in my infinite wisdom, I purchased a Yosh RS-5 slip-on for an '04 CBR600RR so I could take the can and put it on the Yosh RS-5 header and midpipe I have for my '05 CBR600RR, however, the hole in the back of the can is too big for my midpipe, I was just thinking of getting a pipe adapter from like autozone for the bigger pipe, any one have any thoughts on that?

 

If your reffering to the just the muffler, you will need to get the correct midpipe for the yosh can. You should beable to buy one from yoshimura.

If the pipe is close, you might be able to have the end of the mid pipe expanded to fit the muffler. Take it to a muffler shop and see if its possible. They will only be able to expand it so far, so don't expect a miracle. If its not close, they probably wont be able to expand it enough.

You could probably get away with an adapter, if you weld it to the pipe. The problem is going to be finding the right adapter. I doubt its standard size od pipe. But if it were me, I would buy the correct midpipe.
