Default Header-to-Midpipe Gasket

Any good place to get one online for an 02 F4i? Dealer wants 21 bucks. The old one stayed in the stock exhaust and Ive tried everything to get it out. Need one for the new pipe. Thanks.

shouldnt be a gasket there, just pipe sliped over pipe and a clamp around it.

Its a little ring that goes inside the mid pipe so when you clamp it down to the header it seals, if the seal wasn't there, you could clamp it all the way down and move the pipe and easily pull it off the header. was the same for the stock pipe as well as the two brothers mid pipe.

You can use any liquid gasket from automotive/hardware stores.

Otherwise it's $18.93 on Ron Ayers. You decide which is better.

My D&D and any other exhaust I've dealt with didnt have any gaskets except for at the head.

I ended up just buying it from the dealer for 21 bucks. I dont see how u could use a liquid sealer from the hardware store, if you dont have the 1/8 inch think solid ring in there and you tighten the bolts down on the slip on until you bottom the clamp out, you can just pull it right off because its not holding onto the header pipe at all. I got it all figured out now.
