Are you referring to the EXUP valve?

It changes the exhaust flow @8000 RPM via a cable operated valve.

I have no idea how or why it would affect the fuel pump circuit, but apparently it does...

Heyyyyyy guys am helping a friend with his bike its only sparking on 2cylinders not all 4 what do you guys think would cause this some info or input would be nice thanks

Switch the coils around and see if the spark issues move with them.

Assuming it has individual coils. What kind of bike is it?
