Hello all. I have a 2003 CBR600rr with 32k miles, runs flawlessly until recently..

The bike randomly died on me right when I got home from a 2-3 hour rid with my Dad, couldn't start it back up after I shut it off. No power, at all. Fuel pump didn't prime, nothing on cluster. But ran great until I shut it off. Charged it up, sounded healthy but didn't want t go far so i went for about 5 miles and in the last mile the idle was really rough, it had barley any power, and the headlights/taillight were very dim. by the time I got to my house I pulled the clutch in rolling into my driveway and as the RPMs dropped it died. Again, wouldn't start.

Newish battery and it tested fine, so my money is between the stator or rectifier. Had a similar issue on my f4i, ended up being the stator but it wouldn't be 100% dead when it shut off. But it never lost power, never died on me, it just wouldn't start after I shut it off.

Have owned the bike since 29k, previous owned had it from 15k miles and he said it never had either replaced.

I'm far from an expert on those bikes, but IIRC Honda had a bad batch of regulator/rectifiers from 03-06 or something like that. That's where I would put my money.
