Default 03 cbr 600rr fuel pump won't prime

Guys,
I have been working on this bike for a few days and am at wits end. I am getting power up to the connector for the fuel pump, but pump won't prime. When I test the pump by straight wiring it, it works...but as soon as I connect it to the bike harness, I get nothing. Any thoughts? Sorry if this has been previously discussed.

You've tested the pump directly and know it works, and you get power to the plug - but when you plug it into the harness, it doesn't.

Then it's at the plug. Check it for a good connection.

Had same funny problem on my 929.The wires that are potted in place and run through the pump assembly from the outside to the pump had a bad connection which you can't access to repair. The first time it happened,I replaced just the pump, then 2 months later thought it was bad and got a replacement pump, which didn't do jack! Annnnd,of course, the fuel low level sensor didn't work on the new unit, but I'll get to that some other time.
